The Yamaha AD8X is a high-performance 8-channel analog-to-digital converter that has been designed primarly for use with the Yamaha DMR8 digital mixer/recorder, DRU8 digital recorder, or DMP7D digital mixing processor.
Yamaha's "digital floating" technology allows precise conversion with advanced high-rate 1-bit delta-sigma converters. The result is 19-bit audio quality, dynamic range greater than 110 dB, THD as low as 0.0018%, and eminently smooth, natural sound.
