The Yamaha AM602 is a very simple and straightforward mixer that while being cheap still has a decent amount of features compared to its parent KM602. It has 6 monaural line inputs, two of which can be switched to accept a low-level input such as a microphone, and two aux sends with two separate stereo returns.
Using the SUB IN and OUT jacks, another AM602 can be used as sub-mixer (just one more), creating a cascade and increasing the number of available channels to 12. An 8 channel version, the AM802 mixer, was also available.
