The Yamaha FD03 is one of the floppy disk drives Yamaha made for MSX computers. It consists of two parts: an interface that plops into the cartridge port of the computer and contains disk utilities for BASIC stored in ROM, and the actual disk drive. The drive reads 360KB single-sided 3.5 inches micro floppy disks, and needs an external power supply to operate.
One additional disk drive (sold separately as the FD-031) can be daisy chained into the back of the first one. The second drive will receive power from the first one.
